How could changing one image-file be tedious? While I know why that question could be asked, I have designated the task involved to do the “simple” task below if you do not have the right equipment:
1. You have header.jpg which is your normal header image and christmas_header.jpg for the Christmas season.
2. First, you have two choices in preparing the new header image:
a. Copy the image outside of the folder where the original header.jpg file is located and rename it to header.jpg
b. Rename the original header.jpg to original_header.jpg, then rename christmas_header.jpg to header.jpg
3. Open your FTP client and upload header.jpg (the Christmas version).
4. Then if you chose option B, go back and rename them accordingly so the change will be easier when you change it back.
That is a LOT of work for such an “easy” task. Yeah, yeah… it’s not that hard but why waste time doing it the old fashioned way when there is a much easier way of doing the same thing without any hassle?

Once you have the project details in order and ready to go, all you have to do next is upload the files – which can be done with one mouse click.
