KATAKIS 2000

You may get overwhelmed by the energetic action and bombardment of visual effects. There is a lot of it in Takatis! You control a spaceship moving in space (side-scroller). To complete each level (a total of 12 levels) you need to strategically use your weapondry and maneuver ability amongst enemy ships, asteroids, and land-based cannons. Along your way, you collect weapon powerups which enables you to fire missiles (Shift key) and more. It's really cool to watch the missiles in action - total power of destruction! This game is very reminiscent of the classic games called R-Type (1987) and Amiga's Katakis (1988).

R-TYPE 2000

G-Type is a great shooter that will please everyone, whether they're a hardcore fan of R-Type or Gradius, 2D shooter enthusiast, or even someone who despises most shooters. The reason is this: Instead of just blowing up an endless sea of enemy ships, G-Type has you flying through enemy enemy bases, collecting powerup pods to get more powerful upgrades, and dodging asteroids while fighting off some alien mechs. The gameplay is classic R-Type style, with some powerups and enemies from Gradius. All the sounds, music, and graphics are taken from these games too, but with G-Type's excellent gameplay, it feels more like an R-Type game.
